Root-Cause Analysis and Verification
Once possible root causes are identified, they must be verified. Additional data is analyzed, documents are reviewed, and data is collected on what students and teachers are doing in classrooms. Classroom data is collected through a series of walk-throughs. Leadership team participants are trained in and coached on using walk-throughs to collect information on teacher actions, student actions, and the level of rigor in the content presented to students.
